“Super welcome, lots of lovely touches. Horses love it too!”

We take great pleasure in welcoming guests to our friendly, family run B&B, many of whom are now regular visitors to Greystone Farm.

Our working farm is located in a very quiet, secluded rural location on the western edge of the North York Moors National Park, midway between Thirsk and Northallerton. We have recently planted a new woodland & created a wild flower meadow which is overlooked by a summer house for guests use. With far reaching views across to the Yorkshire Dales & Pennines, it is just 2 miles from the main A19 dual carriageway providing easy access to Yorkshire’s numerous attractions.
Greystone Farm has been our home for the past 40 years when we took it over from Sue's parents on their retirement. We have always enjoyed what the North York Moors National Park has to offer. We have maps highlighted with routes taking guests through some of our favourite areas.

We pride ourselves on providing a relaxed, homely atmosphere in which our guests can unwind and enjoy themselves. We offer substantial breakfasts using local produce wherever possible, as well as home-made bread and cakes.
Walkers, cyclists, horses and children are most welcome. We provide an excellent base for walkers with many country paths and only a short distance from the Cleveland Way and Lyke Wake Walks. We also offer a great base for horse riders with numerous forest tracks on our doorstep as well as bridle paths and longer distance rides. We provide good grazing or stabling for horses.

There are plenty of cycle routes close by and we can provide secure facilities for bicycles. There is also ample car parking space.

We look forward to welcoming you to Greystone Farm.
